Zagat is big on big cuts of meat. The proof is a series of recent articles featuring restaurant meat dishes from around the country sized for the Paleolithic man in all of us (check out these Zagat articles on Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington DC, among others).
Now, it’s Seattle’s 15 minutes in the “Bigger is better” spotlight. And Cafe Presse’s whole roasted chicken for two, which tips the scales at 3 1/2 pounds, has made the cut as one of Zagat’s eight favorites. And, although I don’t advocate making menu choices based on standing weight, I can say that our chicken makes a tasty meal for two with plenty of leftovers for the next day. Plus pommes frites.
Thanks for noticing, Zagat.
