Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Le Pichet
What: Ring in the New Year with Le Pichet
When: Saturday December 30, 2011 from 5pm until Midnight
Where: The dining room at Le Pichet
New Year’s Eve is coming fast…have you made your plans yet? There is still time to make your reservations and join us at Le Pichet
Le Pichet will be ringing in 2012 with extended dinner hours beginning at 5pm, festive party favors, hats, balloons, confetti and noisemakers and a Champagne toast at midnight. Wine director Joanne Herron has selected a special list of sparkling wines and Champagnes to accompany your festivities. In addition to our regular menu, we will be offering daily specials that feature foods that the French love to eat on New Year’s Eve; the details are under wraps for now, but think lobster and foie gras as well as festive desserts to finish the evening. Dinner music will be provided by Eli Rosenblatt and his combo beginning at 9:30pm.

Eli Rosenblatt:
“A largely self-taught guitarist, tresero and vocalist, Eli Rosenblatt composes, performs and records in many styles. He appeared at Bumbershoot in 2006 with the Afro-Cuban ensemble, Picoso, and has performed with that group up and down the West coast. Rosenblatt also co-wrote, acted, played and sang in the musical farce “Holiday Bizarre: A Jewish Christmas!” which was presented in both Seattle (Tractor Tavern) and NYC (Center Stage) in 2008. He is also a guitarist and composer for Monarch Duo (Klezmer, Gypsy and other ethnic sound arranged for classical guitar). His infectious compositions are largely influenced by Afro-Cuban and Klezmer music and range from booty-shakin dance songs to eerie melodies evoking European and Middle-Eastern gypsy music.”
